First Annual "My London
Towne" Photo Contest
NEW THIS YEAR!
Our First Annual
"My London Towne" Photo Contest was a huge success with over 30
entries! The Contest was held during our Community Awareness Week (August
17-24, 2008) and was open to amateur photographers of all ages who live in the
London Towne community. Photographs were accepted and judged in two age
groups: Youth (ages 19 and under) and Adult (ages 20 and over).
Prizes were awarded for first, second and third place prizes and People's
Choice awards in each group. The contest was judged by two local
professional artists, Ms. Elsie B. Whitman and Ms. Mary Schumaker. Prizes
were awarded at the Crab Feast on Sunday, August 24 2008, where all entries
were on display. Winning photographs appear below.
