3rd Annual “My London Towne” Photo Contest

In 2008 we added a photo contest to the events of our Community Awareness Week (August 17-24, 2008). This was your opportunity to show the community what London Towne means to you through the lens of your camera. The contest was open to all amateur photographers of all ages who live in the London Towne community. London Towners embraced the contest and it’d grown and become a huge hit every year!  Winning photos are posted in Community Calendars for coming years.

Photos must be taken in the community within the last 3 years.  They can be pictures of the people of London Towne, the nature found in London Towne or a great scene of the water in London Towne. Judging was done by the following age categories: 19 and under, and 20 and over. We had first, second and third place prizes in each of the age categories and the people’s choice award (overall award). Winners were announced and prizes were awarded at the Bull Roast on Sunday, August 22, 2010, where we had all entries on display..

To enter the contest for next year, you will need to complete the entry form and submit your 5” x 7” print of your photo.  Deadlines for the Entries of the 4th Annual "My London Towne" Photo Contest will be announced at a later date.  However, photos should be printed as a 5” x 7” print and should not be framed or matted. The image should have been taken by you in the last 3 years in the London Towne community.
